Mixed models: why, what, how?

This session introduces linear mixed models (that is, models that contain random effects and fixed effects), explain why they are useful, give practice with interpreting them, extracting parameters, and fitting different variance structures.

Slides, exercises and data are here: https://github.com/timotheenivalis/RSB-R-Stats-Biology/blob/master/Archive/03.MixedModels/SlidesExercisesData.zip.
